Guided Tours of Scotland for the Curious
2022 has marked my return to guiding groups on tours throughout Scotland. I had a wonderful time with this Belgian group - including a visit to Elgin Cathedral.
Back Out Guiding...
it has been much too long!
In June and July I was lucky enough to be back out guiding for the first time in over a year and a half.
I can honestly say it felt amazing!
(My facial expressions tell you quite how committed to the storytelling I was!)
These were lovely small groups of wonderful individuals on an LGBTQ+ themed walking tour in Edinburgh, for the Pride weekend. All proceeds went to charities Mermaids and Edinburgh Pride.
My fellow guides and I had a ball putting the tours together and being face-to-face with tour guests once again.
Please contact me if you would like to take a tour on this, or another theme.
About Scot Stories
Guided Tours of Scotland for the Curious
The tours you will discover on this website are not necessarily the tours you would expect. Some explore areas of Scotland that are less well known by visitors, although often they are popular destinations for locals. Others tackle themes that you might not have immediately considered. Scot Stories Tours are created with the curious in mind!

I am a professional Scottish Tourist Guide and have led tailored tours on all manner of themes over many years.
Now I want to share these tours with everyone.

To hear fascinating tales in the places where they occured or from your own home choose any one of these options:

Download an audio tour and walk it at your own pace, making social distancing easier. Clear instructions guide you to the next stop and I have included a map with every tour. All you need is your smartphone and headphones - download your tour of choice and you are ready to go.

Read blog posts with captivating tales of characters from Scotland's history.

Alternatively, why not watch one of my videos, telling stories of some of Edinburgh's past residents - individuals you may never have heard of, but who have played important parts in the city's history.

Or contact me to arrange your private tour.

Thank you for choosing a Scot Stories tour.

10% of all proceeds from Scot Stories Audio Tours will go to
Walk the Walk
Walk the Walk are the charity behind the Moonwalk. They fund all sorts of essential research and services related to breast cancer across the UK. Like most charities they have suffered from a huge drop in funding during the pandemic, at a time when the services they support have never been more in need.
Walk the Walk is a charity very close to my heart, and I intend always to donate 10% of all proceeds from Scot Stories Audio Tours.
By purchasing an audio tour you will be aiding Walk the Walk's work to support and give hope to 1000s of people diagnosed with breast cancer, now and into the future.
To find out more about Walk the Walk check out their website.
Or if you feel very generous, please donate directly to my own Virtual Moonwalk Challenge.
